Hello, I have a 2000 2WD Chevy Blazer LT. Whenever I go over things such as speed bumps, drains at the end of drive ways, or push up and down on my truck when its in park, it makes a screech noise coming from the wheel/shock area. Its coming from the front and the rear, from all tires it sounds like. I have 81,000 on her right now, however when I bought it the guy had the transmission replaced due to a bad factory transmission. So she probably has more miles on her than 81,000. Anyways, what part does it sound like needs replacing? Thank you.

Possible that you shocks are just shot. You can try spraying some wd40 or other lubricant around different areas in the suspension one place at a time to see if it quiets down... Once you find the offending areas, post back up and we'll see what the best way to deal with them is.

Well I took it to my mechanic a while back and I told him the shock area was screeching. He lubricated the shocks and all, but it did not help. Im not expert at telling whether the shocks are bad or not. First off as you all know, blazers are not known for their smoothe rides haha. The only thing that sticks out to me is when I go over a bump or go over a drain to get into a drive way, seems like its really up and down...
