Default sound in dash....

ok let me try to explain this to u....there is a winding sound coming from the dash in my 2000 chevy blazer ls 4x4 4dr....u can not hear it at all from the outside of the vehicle....u can only hear it when the windows r up and the radio is turned down...its a slight winding sound....when u hit the gas it seems to get a lil louder....its more irratating then anything else.....is there anything in the dash that turns or winds around when the engine is started?....its been doing it for about a year...everything works great...i have no problem with it at all...i would just like to find out what that noise is....any help would be appreciated it....it sounds like them toy cars when u pull them back and they wind up and u let them go and they take off...but not quite that loud....lol...i hope that helped....thanks again

Default RE: sound in dash....

I had the same thing with my cavalier. It's your AC compressor. Nothing to worry about, it's just the pressure passing thru the lines.
