Default SS Trailblazer Throttle delay

Anybody notice a delay or hesitation in thier Trailblazer? I realize they use electronic throttle control but is there suppose to be a delay or hesitation off idle? It only does it off idle not when the rpms are up. If you stab the throttle quick in park or at a red light you here like a gulp of air or hiccup and then it takes off. The dealer said this is normal, I find it hard to believe. It has 200 miles and its bone stock (for now).

Default RE: SS Trailblazer Throttle delay

So you are flat footing it pretty much as fast as you can right...? Well, just about any vehicle will have a certain degree of hesitation, even ones with throttle cables. It is caused by the delay between when the throttle is opened and that additional air is available to the cylinders. The air rushing in to the cylinders can only go so fast and it is possible to perceive such a delay. This could be amplified by the electronic throttle.
