VERY BAD vibration?
Hey everyone!
I have some serious vibration going through my 4x4 blazer when I hit 40mph and when I go past 50mph it gets unbearable!!! I think that tires that are out of balance will cause that but at higher speeds (at least 70 or 90mph). My next guess is the drive shafts (front and rear) maybe they are out of balance? And the last guess would be my 1/2 spacer that I put under my tranny mount, I put it there because my front drive shaft used to rub with the metal thing where the tranny mount is on.
Also, my tranny and tcase are a little bit off center, I had to push theme about 1/4 or less to the side to make the bolts fit with the metal thing under the tranny that holds it up. Could it cause the vibration? I don't think so but maybe a possibility.
Thanks in advance, AGAIN! lol

RE: VERY BAD vibration?
Sounds like the U-Joints are being stressed and have developed pre-failure vibrations. You should check them or have them checked.
Also that 1/2" spacer that you installed should be removed if you want to get any life out of the new u-joints and figure out why the front drive shaft is so close to the t-case mount or cross member, something is out of proper alignment and should be fixed. Installing a spacer is only masking the real problem. If there are no lift kits or suspension lifts on the Blazer then you should have plenty of room so parts are not rubbing each other.

RE: VERY BAD vibration?
Thanks man, sorry it was the front drive shaft. I didn't put it in all the way, in the front. So it was a little sideways or crouked.
Sorry for the stupid mistake I made and made a huge deal.
Thanks a lot again!!!
