Default took dash apart and stuff dont work no more

ok i pulled my dash apart to work on my stereo and when i put it back together stuff stopped working. everything is hooked up but my fuel gauge, water temp gauge, gear selector lights, odometer, and cruise control dont work...any thoughts? ima pull it back apart tonight and see if i see anything but id like some input please. lol this will teach me to take crap apart

how far did you take it apart? Sounds like one of your grounds isn't grounding.

[:@]ok well i discovered that my cruise control fuse was blown so when i replaced it everything worked...now i turned the truck off then back on again and now everything in my gauge cluster is lit up. the ABS light, the battery lights, my seatbelt sensor thing dont work, the security light wont go off, my low fuel light is on even though i just filled up yesturday, fuel gauge isn't reading...the list goes on. does anyone have any clue whats wrong before i blow my truck up and buy something else!!!![:@][:@][:@]

this may sound out like an out there response. But Yea when my brother put a new headunit in he had to get a box to go in his dash for the RDS radio stuff. Well when he redid to the dvd indash he took that out and none of the gauges moved and all his things were lit up too. Could he just need to get the box or if its in there check the plugs and all on it.
