Default tranny noise

ok i have read alot of tranny problems and i and can and do all mechanic's work on my blazer but my 95 blazer is making a wineing nosie and it shifts fine and rides fine fluid levels are good and dont smell burnt anyone know what it might be any help would help

Can you tell us the year... model? Is it an automatic? standard? Need a little more info hun... Can you tell us also when it seems to make this noise and is it a grinding, squeak...etc.?

Its a 95 dont know the trim model. Its a 4 door all power 4.3 vortec automatic with overdrive 4x4 and its making a winding noise like its low on fluid and it onley does it when i put it in gear no grinding i also here a clicking but i think thats the universal's making it havent had the chance to check yet and the noise sounds like its comming from the frount of the tranny "Torc Converter" Area Hope this info can help

i gess you dont know what it might be you left me hanging any idea's well help just so i have somewere to start without changing the tranny ( last resort ) please get back to me asap no hurry tho its just anoying

If it only makes the noise when it's in-gear, it just about has to be an internal trans problem (even the torque converter and transmission fluid pump turn whenever the engine is running so that pretty much eliminates them). I suggest you take it to a Transmission shop or a dealer and have someone test drive it. They may be able to give you an idea just by driving it, which shouldn't cost you anything.
