That would be great if you could find out about that Kyle. I'm very interested in this.

Not a problem. I'll give a call to the dealership and check out my dad's truck. I don't even know if I still have the one box that was still sorta glued to my fender anymore. Think I just tossed it.
Here's what I found with a quick google search - keyword 'electronic rust inhibitor':
Rust Stop North America - Seems like if we were to get a group buy together, it would be alittle cheaper, but still damn expensive. They also have some information as to how/why it works. Take it all with a grain of salt though.
CAT Rust Prevention System - Yet more information and another source for basically the same thing.
Counter-Act - Again, another site with information, but I don't really like the site layout. Not all that professional looking.
Good luck. I will find out from the dealership as well as how much my dad spent on it.

I'll read through this stuff when I get a chance. Do you think there could be negative results to having one? There's always a downside to everything, so I wonder what it is for this....

Very well could be.
I know for a fact on my Bravada, it was a dealer installed option (as stated on the paperwork that came with the truck) along with a locking spare tire hole cover, locking lug nuts, vent visors (now removed) and a factory hood bug deflector (cracked when bought and removed).
All I can say is that it did it's job on my truck. The body has NO rust on it even where the paint was cracked at one time or anther prior to my purchasing it.

Thanks. It's definitely something I'm going to look at buying.

I wonder if it works similiar to my trickle charger. It has pulse technology. Manufactorer claims it removes most of the corrosion on the plates in the battery.
