2.8 Exhuast suggestions?
I'm looking to get a new muffler for my 1988 2.8 S-10 Blazer.
Im just looking at getting a new muffler, what do you guys recommend?
Flowmaster, Magnaflow, Cherrybomb, any others?
Im looking for something with an aggressive sound, I know its a 2.8 but I need a new muffler and I want to put a nice one in.
Thanks for the help, any questions just ask.

Depends on the sound you want. You won't notice much a change it performance seeing as how you have a low performance engine but different mufflers make a big difference in sound. Chambered mufflers like Flowmasters, I don't like their sound on a V6. They have a nice rumble at idle but once you hit the gas it's easy to tell you've got a V6 under the hood, especially the 2.8 you have. I would go for a turbo style muffler, they flow better than stock but they're pretty quiet. Cherry Bomb, Summit Racing, Thrush and Flowtech make real cheap ones, Hooker, Dynomax and Borla are more expensive but they flow a little better and are a little louder. Cherry Bomb has a $21 13" case Turbo that gives you more sound than stock but keeps the ricer sounds out.
