Anyone know how or if able to bend a CAI Pipeing?
Well the best way for me to explain it is the bottom peice of my intake tube is bent too far down and needs to be bent up at more of an angle upward not downward. As this one bends down at an angle Such as a KandN also.

compared to the one that i have that the bottom of the pipe bends straight down and dosent fit right. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevy...Q5fAccessories
Let me know if anyone has had any luck or if theres any way i can do it. Im thinking about bringing it to an exhaust shop to see if they could custom mandral bend it back out a tad.

mine was like that a bit, I chose to solve it by cutting off 2" off the upper pipe and 4" off the lower pipe. mine was an ebay 3.5" kit. everything sits good now. I want to tell you though that you want your intake to stick as far down into the corner as possible. The closer to the top you have it the more hot air your going to suck. hope it helps.

See this is my problem. Its like the pipe that holds the filter isent long enough and it banging on the top of my fender or the bottom of my engine bay. I cant extend it in anyway due to the bracket that bolts to the old factory mount. It sucks and dosent fit too good. Dont know what to do to make it fit right
