thanks. that being said, can i replace both cats with high flow?

You "can"... as in you'd be able too...

Modifying/tampering with emissions devices is also more than likely illegal along with removing them completely.

The way that the federal laws are written, it is illegal to remove a properly functioning catalytic converter. Is that adhered to? No. Is it even enforceable? No. The trouble you will run into is if the replacement catalytic converters are not as efficient as the originals. You'll trigger a code and then where are you..?

If i replaced both cats i dont think too many shops would have a problem with it. I guess the only way to find out is to go for it.

Just ordered one of these from summit ~$137 shipped, I'll let you guys know what I think after I get it and, get it on. I would love to think its going to be awesome, but I have to say the price tag is way cheap!!!

i just would like to know if there would be any performance gains in getting a high flow cat?
