Default cold air intakes

i've been interested in adding a cai to my 94 but all the ones i have seen have been $200+ i'm not really looking at spending this much. is there any thing out there thats cheaper but still good or maybe some mods to get the same effect?

You could always get a cheapy ebay kit, and throw on a nice AEM DryFlow filter...

Or mod the stock air box like this (Thanks HenryJ!) with an AEM or K&N filter.

Here's a direct link. That will work just fine, just be sure to fab a heat shield so you're not sucking in hot air from the engine bay, thus defeating the purpose of a cold air intake.

man my blazer gets such horrible gas like 11mpg lol but it helped a little i felt like it would get up and go faster but it was probably all in my head, my favorite thing about it is the sound when you rev it up, sounds mean. you cant go wrong with one.
