Default Exhaust pipe separtion help

Whats the best way to separate two exhaust pipes that one is slipped over the other without damaging either one of them? they are 2 1/2" diameter and not really rusty, just some minor surface rust only and the top one has a little mark from the clamp crimping. and i do have a B1 actelyene torch too. i plan to reuse these pipes. what are your ideas?

Pretty much what you said, i'd use a torch and weaken the welds and break it off.
