it would be a deep, loud sound lol. i'm putting one on my truck here soon. if you get one by the longest and widest one you can, it make a deeper sound.

I say 2 cylinders less than a 350 and diff compression and HP., call it a rice burner sound when ya get on it..!! I have a Flowmaster super44 that i`m thinking of puttin on my xtreme. not sure about how its gonna sound since its a 3" in/out muffler.

Flowmasters sound fanominal on these trucks along with almost anything in my opinion. I have the normal 40 before all that delta crap and it rumbles, deep and gets stupid loud, gained roughly 1-2mpg and deffintally felt a difference in power. Ive never liked glasspacks. I had one of my jeep and it sucked. It almost gave it a higher pitch sound than the straight pipe I had on it.

Glasspacks would give it a higher pitched sound. Like some other people have said it's going to sound a rice-burner. Thought about putting one on my F-150 (it's a 4.2 v6) as well. Look on youtube.com for videos about it. It doesn't sound too good at all. I would go with a Flowmaster Super 44 before I would go with a Glasspack.

I had a cherry bomb glasspack on my 02 4x4 blazer and it did not sound like a rice burner but it didnt sound deep either. I switched and put a flowmaster 40 on it and cut the canister riught before the cat. convertor off and it sounds really good. At start up and idle it has a V8 sound, once you take off it sounds great but you can tell its a V6 when you get into a higher RPM.
