a good ebay intake with heat shield!

Alright, I would love to spend the $300 for a K&N Intake for my truck, but im really thinking about getting this intake. They both look identicle and mount almost the exact same. When I get it ill just get a better filter deffintally a K&N filter for it. Does this one fit all the way up to the front of the front of the truck? Because im asking mine doesent fit right at all, as compared to the K&N and what I can tell from the pics this one. This is the crap one I have that fits wrong with no heatshield.

Yes, the intake I got does go all the way to the front. The filter is also much larger than the one shown in your pictures (I beleive it is a 9" cone). I am very happy with this intake and would recommend it to anyone. I will eventually upgrade to a K&N but for now the filter it came with seems to be working great.

Also note that the intake I got replaces the entire intake including the black plastic piece that attaches to the TB
