Default Headers and PCM

Tryin to put headers on my 2000 blazer. Will our PCMs automatically adjust for adding headers? I would like to also get a mail order tune but if the stock PCM will adjust automatically then I do not have to do both the headers and the tune at the same time. Just trying to see how much money I need to have set aside at a time.

Headers on our vehicles will mostly be for sound because of the Y pipe. Your dual flowmaster, is that a 1 in/2 out muffler or true dual exhaust from the collectors back?
As for the PCM a wait4me tune will have really good benifits, look them up & search in here for a lot of info.

+1, skip the headers and do a pcm tune. Best bang for your buck mod. I used black bear performance and it was a night and day difference.

It's a 1in/2out muffler.

Not trying to come off as rude but a little searching in here will pay off. All of this has been covered in numerous posts & threads.

Is there really no advantage to adding headers to my set up?

On these trucks there is very little power gain, not enough to justify the cost.
