Installed?

Does anyone have any pics of this installed by chance? Old neighbor with a Bravada wants to go the CAI/cat-back route and I want to steer him clear of oiled filters. Injen's looks good but doesn't look like it would keep the heat down. I'm not entirely convinced the picture in the listing is for our specific application...any pictures would help immensely. I want to see if their shield adequately seperates the filter from the engine bay or not. If not, I'm going to recommend the K&N kit with minimal oil...
...Also, are these the best prices out there. Anyone find better?

I would recommend the K&N FIPK over either of those anyday. On the oil note, you just have to make sure that it isn't over oiled out of the box, and that you don't over oil it when you clean the filter. One of the biggest mistakes made by K&N users is cleaning too often and over oiling them afterwords.
If you clean the MAF sensor after a few weeks of use, you shouldn't have any problem from then on until it is cleaned and re-oiled.

I dunno about all that oil stuff but I know I love the dry filter on the aem. I have an 02 and the filter is a tight fit, also the "heat sheild" is pretty useless but it is wicked cool having that big ol' 9" conical filter on there!

Yeah, I was going to say that... AEM's dry filter looks pretty wicked... and all you need to clean it some solution, a 5 gallon pail, and let it dry overnight, lol

Well make sure to get a couple of pics of it installed and tell us about it after it is installed, like if you notice any improvement in power/torque/or gas mileage. Looks pretty cool, I might have to get that.
