OK, I'm looking to beef up my intake & exhaust systems and I'm wondering what the best route to go is. I've looked into the exhaust systems and I'm leaning toward the Gibson set up or possibly a custom dual set up. The latter depends on how much it will cost me. I haven't been able to find much info on the intake though. Drop in? CAI? RAM air? Which should I go for? Also, does anyone have any opinions on the Gibson exhaust?

if you go dual tips, dont do tru-dual exhaust, single muffler will sound much deeper. For the intake, go with one that has some sort of heat shielding to help prevent hot air getting in. Volant sells a good cold-air kit that has a complete seal between the heat shield and the radiator support. Check out some of your options... Intake options -Click
that is pretty much all the intakes offered for Blazers, hope it helps

The only way you can visually tell the difference between true duals and single exhaust y'd after the muffler is by crawling under your truck (unless you plan on being upside down anytime soon). As cherry already stated, the exhaust will sound MUCH better with it y'd after the muffler. Once you y the piping, you can put the tips where ever you want.

The Airaid kit looks like a good buy and design. It replaces the top of the factory airbox with a "cool air dam" (basically a heat shield), and a washable (K&N style) cone air filter You keep the bottom of the airbox, which also helps in shielding the heat.

i also agree with cherry on the exhaust. and on the intake ive got the stock air box with a k&n filter. my maf has been descreened and air deflector has been romoved from the trottle body. the air bx has been modded to suck more air threw. Ive noticed a big differance over stock. i can now outrun afew cars in town

i say borla muffler get a shop to weld you up a 2.5" exhaust should cost like $100. Get them to make you a 2.5" y-pipe, K&N FIPK or AEM brute force, cfm-tech TB blade, march underdrive pullies, e-fans, 2800stall torque converter, and a good tune could REALLY WAKE YOUR BLAZER UP, or just do full exhaust, stall, tune, 100shot and hit high 13's

A guy from work said he knew a guy who could hook me up with a custom exhaust. I'm not real familiar with it but he mentioned something about a Loback Exhaust and RPM Muffler. My guy from work warned me that it's loud and he has a similar set up on his old mustang. Sounds interesting. Anyone know anything about this?

was the intake deflector really an improvement (no ses light)? More Power? or faster results from the foot opening it faster?
Is the egr mod ok?

my maf screen is removed
have dynomax cat-back
helix power toewer throttle body spacer is in the mail due to be here tomorrow
