alright so it came in the mail today and it is really small. now should i just cut out my old muffler and have it replaced? thats what i want to do but idk if i can do that myself. i want to take it to a shop and have them weld it into place. any idea how much that will run me?

if they charge anymore than 20-30 bucks its a rip off. It should only take like 10 minutes to weld that in.

Ask them how much they would charge to do the work.

Make sure they understand not to do anything unless you permit them/agree to it before they do the work.

they said they would charge me around 70. no more than 90. thats the cheapest i could find around here. i called all the muffler places. this place seems the best so im giving them my business. they specifically specialize in exhaust work so i figured they would take good care of my baby.

That seems pretty steep just to weld in a muffler and some extra pipe.
