Default Non-ricer muffler

Anyone know a good, non-ricer sounding muffler for the 4.3?

I've heard good things about the Thrush Welded mufflers sounding really nice with the 4.3

if you go to Walker exhaust and use there e catalog to look up your vehicle
At the bottom of the diagram box there is often options for "performance" mufflers

I bought a car once with Thrush Weldeds on it. They are just a cheap Flowmaster knock-off that are extremely loud, droning, and abrasive.

Look at either Magnaflow or Flowmaster. I got compliments on the Flowmaster Deltas that I put on my Blazer.

I wasn't sure, I've just seen that name tossed around.

Mine has a Gibson swept side on it and it sounds pretty good. It isn't overly loud but gives a nice rumble.

I first replaced the stock muffler with a Flowmaster. Wasn't quite the sound I wanted, so I had a dual exhaust installed with an add'l Flowmaster. Rumbles like you wouldn't believe.
