pipe question
is there a name for the pipes that come off th manifolds to the pre cat and cat
#3
i thought y pipes came off the cat or muffler to duals this pipe looks more like a h
#4
The y pipe is just referring to any pipe that is y shaped. I will crawl under my blazer later and see what you are talking about. But I thought you meant the pipe that brings the 2 manifolds together which is also called a y pipe.
#5
The pipe that joins the two exhaust manifolds together is called the y-pipe.

Pretty sure it's a y-pipe. H-pipes look like a capital H since it's dual pipes merged. The one you've got looks more like a lower case h but it is in fact a y-pipe. If it were called an h-pipe that'd be confusing with the true dual crossover/balance pipe.

yeah im trying to order a pipe that would go from my manifolds to my muffler no pre -cat or cat i need one for offroad purpose im gonna start runnin dirt flat drags its a legal competition local muffler shops wont build me one because of emission laws

A shop should do it if the car is registered for offroad use, meaning it'd be illegal to drive on the street. I searched Summit and didn't find an offroad y-pipe so you could use the stock one and just cut the cats out of it and scrap them for cash. You'd have to get the O2 sensors tuned out so it doesn't trip the CEL.

my rear 02 is already deleted for my supercharger i was wanting the whole thing so i could bolt it on for the drags and put the stock one back on for street use also gonna switch my thermostat to a 160 so it will run open loop for more power

It's not really Worth the hassle to switch back and forth imo go with one or the other is what I would do. You could get a high flow cat also
