actually the fumes really dont get in the cab unless i keep the door open, even with the window down i dont smell them, probably because the turn down isnt straight down, it kinda is at a 45 degree angle and blows it all towards the back

I like that sound, but I think gutting the cat will make it sound worse, won't have a deep rumble like that. It'll sound like a ricer when you hit the gas so if it's bad just replace it with a cheaper aftermarket one.

i did exact same thing on my ride, i love the sound.
i would leave the cat intact too.
i went with a cherry bomb turbo.
i miss summer driving with windows down and running around with that sound

thats kinda what i was thinking, its not bad so i might leave it on
but i love the sound. and i too miss the windows being down haha
