i dropped a 305 in my 86 jimmy and it only has the single exaust and i will be using stock manifolds from a camaro but i only have a y-pipe off of a 88 chev astro to put in it does anyone think it would work if not does anyone have an idea what would?

and another question i have is because the motor is carborated and the truck was set up for a throttle body would i need to have the computer set up or can i just unplug it all together?
