Default 1st gen Tbar keys

OK, so instead of being able to put my puller on, I find this skidplate thing covering the Tbar adjusters. Im trying to change the keys out. I cant figure out how to get the damn bracket thing out of the way so I can put my tool on and proceed... Does anyone have any tricks or done this before? I gotta move that damn xmember out of the way.

Its a 1st gen.

All photos are the drivers side.

Heres looking at the suspect crossmember from front to back.

From the back looking at the Tbar crossmember, see how I can clamp on that edge nicely? The front side has some separate xmember that I cant figure out.

There is that notch that steps up that prevents me from even banging it to the front enough to attach my tool

See I have that thing in the way for the puller to attach.
