2.5 RC diff drop problem?
Hey all, OSS here;
Was in the middle of making a how-to video for the 2.5 RC lift (as I did with my body lift) and I can't seem to drop the diff? All the retaining bolts are out, but there is a cable going to the passenger side of the diff that is holding it up. Not sure what it is. I assumed it was the vacuum actuator. I switched over to 2hi-4hi but didnt feel any movement in the line, or at the base of it. Any ideas what to do about it? It's bolted to a base plate with 4 (maybe size 15) bolts, to the diff.
What have you guys done to remedy this?

impatient much ?
the cable is to lock the front axle when your transfer case is locked in
they have retainer clips that hold the cable in place by the actuator and inside the diff

Thanks for the reply..my truck's all apart, I ended up finding that C-clip type thing you just mentioned. Diff is back in, drop bracket(s) are on!
