a body lift is actually one of the easiest lifts to install most people can knock one out in a day or two. plenty of guys have done a SAS im not sure there are too many on the site tho. how much lift are you looking to get and is your blazer going to be stictly a trail truck or a mix of on and off road?

um its my first truck and i wouldnt mind a cheap like 6" lift. thats why i was looking towards a sas because its cheaper to lift a truck with a sfa. and it will be used for on road and a lil bit of off roading

If you're not doing any serious off-roading, a 6" lift probably isn't worth your money, time, and trouble. There are several things that need to be done in doing a 6" lift other than lifting the truck. It's also expensive and hell on your front end.

Just my opinion though.

a 6" lift kit will run you about $2-3K. do you have the ability to do a SAS yourself? if so and you have everything you need already(new axles, leaf springs, or coil over setup,etc,etc....) then it might be cheaper than an actual kit, but if you dont have the know how youll be looking at some pretty hefty bills to pay a shop and gather all need items.
