This is 2.5" RC plus 2" BL on 31s I don't think it looks off at all. Even with this combo plus fender trimming I could still get my tires to rub the back of the fenders occasionally so there's no way just a 2" BL would be sufficient unless it was on road use only.

I think the red first gen in lewhites post looks puuuurfect. I think it would look equally good on a 4 dr too, and appears to be very functional. Maybe it just looks good on that body style.
I'm trying to figure out what to do with the 2001 4dr/4wd we just bought too. I want a widened stance and a more stuffed look.

You know, stuffed wheel wells, instead of all kinds of air above them

The red first gen definitely aint stuffed. But I agree, the look of a proportional tire to wheel well gap is more pleasing

No, I agree....the red one is not stuffed , but it looks great though. And yes, being 'stuffed' is about a nice proportion between the wheel size, gap, and overall wheelwell. To me nothing looks more ridiculous, and amateur, than a giant foot-or-more gap above the tire, unless the thing is rolling on 42s or something huge. Not to mention the a huge lift setup is utterly useless unless you're running giant meats.
