Default 35" tires

well i just bought a 98 4x4 2dr, and i ordered a 5" suspension kit from trailmaster and a 2 inch body lift....can i fit 35x12.50s under it? any help would be great, and if this wont do, what can i do to fit? thanks!

that depends on how much you want to trim. you can fit 33's just fit and maybe 34's with trimming, but if you want 35's it will require ALOT of trimming not to mention re gearing.

may sound dumb bro but im a newb to this...where do i trim, and how much? does it look bad?

youll have to trim the rear of your front fender and the front valance for sure. IMO i think it would look bad if you trimmed enough to fit the 35's i would just try and stick to a 34 or 33. even a 34 will require hefty trimming.

all of this also depends on the backspacing of the wheels and how wide the tires are. I just got 33x12.5 on 15x8 wheels with 4.5in of backspacing. For normal driving the only place they rub is on the front valance when im turning. im not sure how it will do on the trails but i will find out tomorrow. I also have a 6in lift with a 2in body lift so you may have to do a little bit more trimming. You would have to do massive amounts of trimming to fit 35x12.50s

Just go with 33x12.50s and you will be fine.

The highest I would go with the IFS would be 33's.
35's will eat up the front end parts if its going to be a DD.
I had 35's on my blazer but it would rub.
