So, I've been seriously debating the 6" FIT Superlift for my blazer, and I've got a couple questions...

First off, i know I'd need to regear if i did the lift, so what would my options be to regear?
I have the front diff out ofmy wrecked 02ZR2 (3.73), i could throw in, but i ended up selling the rear axle out of it, so i don't have the gears out of the rear. Could i buy gears for the rear to match or what are my options there?

Next question: My buddy has a set of 33x12.5x15 Discover Cooper STT's he's looking to get rid of (i could get them for dirt cheap), but the superlift website says the lift will fit 33x10.5x15's will the extra 2" width cause rubbage?

And last question, has anyone here installed the lift before, and know what kind of work is involved? Its really not going to be an issue as my brother in law is very very knowledgeable and will be helping me throughout the process, i'd just like to know what i'm gettin my self into...

 

as far as gearing, your probably gonna want to step up to 4.11s. nj4x4blaze has the superlift on his truck....he should chime in soon

 

At full steering lock you may have rubbing at the bottom rear edge of front fender with the 33x12.5/15 tires. Nothing a little fender trimming won't solve.
And for gears I'd definitely recommend stepping up to 4.11 at least.

Contact Randy's Ring and Pinion to purchase your gears. If you plan on running 33's I would suggest 4.11's. Ask the guys from Randy's for Yukon gears, that's what I am running on my truck. As for the tires, my 33's are 12.50" wide and they rub a little. Like SockJock said, some trimming and the issue was taken care of. If you don't wanna trim your fenders, then you can always do a 2" body lift.
