97 2wd 2dr. lift????
I'm looking to put 31" tires on my 1997 2wd 2door Blazer. I like the stock aluminum wheels so I will be keeping them. I don't do any off road driving, just want the ride height. What do you think my best options are??? Thanks for your input...

With a 2WD, you don't have that pesky axle in the front to wear out and interfere with everything. I think the best way to go would be lift spindles in the front and an add-a-leaf in the back.
You could also use longer coil springs in the front and shackles in the back or a body lift.

I would only do a body lift and some heavy duty shocks for those larger tires.
If you wanna go higher then do 3" lift spindles in the front and 2" shackles in the rear for that prerunner look and it will still have the factory stock ride.

I'm after the prerunner look as mentioned. Where can I get the parts to do the 2" lift shackles in the back and the 3" lift spindles in the front? Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the links. What would give a better ride, the add a leafs or the shackles? Which would give me more height?

aal's will be stiffer when compared to shackles and if you buy 2" shackles or 2" aal's they will both give you 2" of lift.
