98 with a 3" body lift

Default 98 with a 3" body lift

Hello I just joined a week ago I have a question .Can anyone tell me if a3" body lift work on a 98 four door and do you have any pics. I have done lifts before but this is my first blazer.I just want a mild off roader now to take the kids. Just looking to fit 31s The lift i am looking at is for a 94 and the price is good. . . . Thanks

i believe a member has done it around these parts....i think the steering shaft is the big issue.
i went with a 2" lift myself...craigslist special. so i am with you on the price.
bumper height might also be an issue to.

Hey brother, I realize this post is a couple of months old but if you haven't bought the 94 3" kit yet, you may want to do some research. I think there is a break in compatibility at 98 and I don't think a 94 kit will work.

It depends on if its a early or late model , my 94 is a first gen box style and the later months are the more aerodynamic .

i have a 98 blazer stock height, little bit saggy in the rear and i can fit 31's only rub is when i hit a hard bump. just sayin. stock tire size is less than an inch difference
