If its an safety inspection and it had a ball joint going out I would fail it, would expect it if it was on my truck.

Growing up I remember arkansas having an inspection every year. I would rather see that again then these idiots ruining the safety of driving by running these stupid rides they do. Its the idiots with the hockey puck lifts, running s-10 lift spindles on gm cars with 24+ rims, stacked frames, and that stupid crap the reason why areas have stupid strict lift laws.

That last one looks real close to mine, but its only got a 3" body lift which looks ridiculous with the stock 235's that I just put on. That's why my plan is to ditch the body lift and go with a suspension lift when I'm able to.

Sorry, I'm giving it back to my friend who put it on in the first place, he's wanting to put it on the Baja that he just traded me the Blazer for. Couldn't get my picture to load up, but there is one in my garage on my profile.

Yea in NY we can't fail a ball joint , trust me I wish we could , if I tried we could get sued ( its been done before ) . But we can only suggest they get it fixed . Most of us work on commission and the more we find the more money we make , and thats the main problem with NY inspections , alot of shops are taking advantage of there custumers ( Inlcuding ours ) . I'm actully collecting unemployment right now and don't work at this place anymore , I have been a mechanic for a very long time and I enjoy my work but I will not work for a place like that ever again , I Hope . I'll stay in my little town and work at one of the local owned shops and stay right away from the city .
