Hey jigg
Those are the zr5 rims right? dont they have the same bs as the stock rims for ur truck? They seem way further out there im guessing u got some spacers what size did u go with?
I plan on throwing 33x12.5 on at some point but was looking to go with a 3"bl for a little less trimming and the rims i want have like 5"bs and are 8 inch wide dont really want to throw a 12.5 on a 7" wide rim you have any problems with that? it looks good i thought it might look a little odd but from your pics it seems fine.

Yeah, they have the same specs as stock. I have 2" spacers in the rear and 1.25" spacres on the front. With the trimming i did, there's no rubbing on-road. Off-road, i get a bit in some very specific instances.
There's absolutely no issue with a 12.5" on a 7" rim. People will say there is, but trust me... i've had those tires on my truck for like 40k miles. Constantly at 35psi, and hardly ever rotated. I have VERY even wear and still have some decent tread left on the tires.
Backspacing is key to fitting larger tires. Don't go any less than 5" bs on an 8" wheel. The 3" BL will definitely help you to have to trim less (or have better clearance with the same trimming).
bammontana... you don't have to regear for 33's if you have a ZR2. They come with 3.73 gears from the factory, and it's more than enough for 33's. 35's would be pushing it, as would 33's on the non-zr2's without the 3.73 gears. 3.5" of backspacing AND 1" adapters? Your front end must love that! I'd really rethink that combination, as it's going to put a ton of stress on your front suspension/steering. It's just not made for rims with such low backspacing.

Hi yal. so, new member here and have not looked up and down yet through this forum for an answer..
I have a 1993 Blazer Sport (limited ed)...4wd, 2 door; etc. Just purchased a 4" lift and am determining what size tires are going to be best for it.
The rims are 18", and we are currently thinking that 33 1250's will be suffice, for the balance and look that i am going for.
My bf has a 2003 2500 hd/ 6" lift with 37's and those are just tooooo much in my opinion...(i hate when the tires cannot turn w/o rubbing....grrrr like nails on chalkboard).
So, what is your opinion(s)? I care about performance and price more than looks...
Thank you
