Default body mount bolt removal?

Alright- second post today so don't get too mad! I started trying to break the bolts free for the body mounts- they wont turn! And I'm really afraid that I'm going to bust the heads off the bolts and have to cut through my floor to get to the other side...should I just use an impact wrench from the start or manually with a socket or wrench and breaker bar? And should I do it before I jack the side up?

Try tightening them slightly first using a long breaker bar and very light pressure. This will help free them. Once they start to move work them back and forth, loosening them a little more each time until they turn easily. Once they do switch to a shorter breaker or ratchet Use some PB Blaster and a propane torch around the area to heat the metal and expand it if that does not work.

I wouldn't heat them unless its a last resort and you plan on replacing the rubber mounts anyways. Be prepared to light the rubber on fire if you have to.

Personally I would just soak every bolt down daily for a week or two with oil (I like kroil oil over others but its $$).

I used a product called "Fluid Foam" or something. Soaked 'em all down. Purchase a 1/2" breaker bar too, *very* useful! if the bolt head is stripped, I recomment the Mastercraft 5 piece swirl bolt extractor kit, worked like a charm!

That sounds like it'd work out well! I am going to use "liquid wrench" too and see ifs it works. Right now I need to wait though because my Jimmy isn't driveable or at my house. I need to tow it from my lazy mechanics because he hasn't touched it sense it has been there for two weeks. Kind of annoying. It only had 86k on it too, nice truck- head gasket ruined it all. I plan on it being finished around the 15-20th of July. =\
