Custom 3" body lift?
So I was on synergy not too long ago and realized that they sell 3" bl pucks seperatly for a really decent price.
I was thinking buying the pucks and going to the local hardware store and getting some longer body mount bolts and fan shroud spacers/nuts and bolts, ect. Then just fabbing my own brackets for the bumper, and for the oil filter. I have it all in my head on what it would take to do it but I was just wondering if anybody has actually done this and/or if people though it would work.
All in all I figured it would probably be cheaper than just buying a 2" plus you get an extra inch of lift. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

A member here called "taymacjack" has a 3" body lift on his. From what I remember, he used a combination of the 2" kit and the 3" kit meant for 1st gens.

i put a 3in body lift on my 01 blazer it wasnt difficult at all. the kit i used came from summit. it was for a first gen blazer but it does work. some parts you need to fab yourself. you need to do something for the rear bumper to raise it. the kit that i got actually had two blocks that were left over and i used them for the front bumper.
