Default custom lift

Hey guys.

Quick question for the engineers. I'd like to lift the rear axle of my 1980 k5, only the rear and only 1". I do like the way it rides, so i actually dont wanna change the leafs or shocks and i don't wanna lift the front. I like the esthetic look of a little edge setup.
How can i accomlish that?

You could get longer shackles. Usually 2" longer shackles will give you a little over an inch of lift without changing your factory ride

1" Zero Rate 'Add-a-leaf' spacers are what you are looking for. I picked up a used set a few years ago for like $20.

Shackles won't work on the rear of a K5 as the rear shackles are inverted. A shackle flip typically adds ~4" of height to the rear using a stock shackle.
