Default fab'ing my own shakels

Well I have access to everything i need to build my own, free of charge, but better yet, ill get paid to build them

1st question is, is 3/8 flat bar good enough?

2nd question is, anyone have exact dimensions for me?

3/8" will be fine. for every 1" of lift you need youll have to make the shackle 2" longer. so if you want 2" of lift your shackle will have to be 8" long its also a good idea to put a cross brace between the two sides for added support.

Yeah, just use some 3/8" by 1" to 1.25" wide flat iron to make up the straps then use some 1x1 box tubing to make the cross piece.

yes if you want 2" of lift youll need to make the new shackles 8" long.
