front end leveling
And even with indexed keys, you will be flexing your CV shafts beyond what they were made to flex. +2" and you will break things more often even if you are just driving around town.
I installed one of those cheap 2" lifts that you can buy off of ebay for about $150. I honestly would advise not to do that.
The kit came with shackles for the rear leaf springs and tbar keys for the front.
After installing everything and driving it, I realize that something is grinding. I look and find that my axle boot on the passenger side came undone because of the excess angle that the lift had put on the cv joint (as talked about earlier). I then relaxed the tbars all the way and drove it again. The grinding was gone until i went over 70 mph or went over bumps on the express way. I replaced the axle and the problem is slightly better, but it's still there.
So, my question is, do ZR2 blazers have different axles than LS blazers?
My second question is, where can I find an axle that'll handle the 2 in lift?
--Thank you, Chad.
