Default Front Shackles?? (89 K5 4x4)

Hey all, i searched for a while yesterday but was unable to locate anything in regards to front shackles on a solid axle up front. I am curious if anyone has heard or knows about front lifting shackles for straight axle k5's? I know you can put shackles in the rear on leaf springs but what about the front? I cant seem to locate anything about longer front shackles...or are they called something different? I am trying not to get new leaf springs as i have a 4in lift on my leafs up front already. Thinking about going to a full 6in lift all around. I have an 89 K5 4x4 if that helps.

Thank you all in advance!

GM Chevy Heavy Duty Front Shackles from Offroad Design for Blazer, Jimmy, Suburban, or you could just get some 3/8's plate and make your own.

i dont think those are lift shackles. you cant really shackle a front axle it will screw up your steering. this is from that link above

"Why aren’t they longer yet? Extra length on a shackle gives you more caster (which isn’t too bad in moderation) and tips your front pinion down. The pinion angle can quickly get to the point that the yoke has to be clearance ground for the driveshaft to rotate. This can be a major problem and is the reason we keep the extra length to a minimum."

thats the joy of owning a straight axle truck you can just buy lift springs and be done with it

they aren't exactly lift shackles they are 1/2 longer and a heck of a lot stronger, i made new ones for my k10 that were an inch longer because of bending the stockers and it didn't mess with my steering at all. If you went much bigger than that you would be making an issue with your pinion angle which could be corrected with shims but isn't the greatest idea....but like abig84 said having a solid axel is nice and easy to lift, check cl there is always cheap used lifts on there for older gms.
