Help With replacing Front Coils springs.
I have a 1996 s10 blazer and its actually lowered 2" right now(bought it from a farm that way.) Anyways I got tired or not being able to go over stuff I wanted it higher. So purchased 2"lift coils for the front and new pro comp 2" lift shocks (all 4), as for the rear i'm just going to remove the lowering block and make it a lifting block. So here is my actual question: How do i remove the front coils? It is a coil over set up but when i unbolt the shock just the shock comes out and not the coil. Am i supposed to try and fit a set of coil compressors down in my wheel well and compress the coil and THEN remove the coil? or are there any easier ways.. Please let me know.
Sorry I have no pics of my stock/lowered blazer they will be on by 5/6/11

Here's a how to on installing drop springs, same process as lift coils.

You can't use the lowering blocks as a lift, unless you remove the rear spings and put them on top of the axle.
Search- lift shackles.

So that link really did help. Thank you! And also I am going to put my rear leaf springs on top on my axle. Do you know if I will have to get my front end re-aligned after I do all of this? I'm also doing all of this today so i will actually post pics for before and after!!
