how many body mounts are there on a second gen blazer?
i got free pucks for body lift but i only have ten do i need more? and i need to see if any one knows how to lift the front and rear bumpers or how to make the brackets to lift em.
You only need 10...
2 for the radiator support
2 by the front doors
2 in front of rear tires
2 next to rear tries
2 by the rear bumper
I have a 3" body lift on my blazer, I haven’t made bumper brackets yet. The front should be easy to do.. I'm just going to put the bottom bolt holes on the top bumper bracket holes..(that'll raise it up enough) I'll post pics when i do it cause its kind of hard to explain.. The back is a different story, You might be able to use L-brackets some how..
If you are doing a homemade body lift, you're gonna have to extend the shift linkage(1st gens)(automatic) just a heads up. What you might wanna do is go on performance accessories web site and download the body lift directions just in case you run into a snag..

Its the 532 533 532x 533x 542 543
12th one down on the left...

thanks man. one more question kinda of topic but i did shackle lift on the rear and cranked the tbar but its still sits like an inch lower in the front. would it be a bad idea to get the lift keys? just curious
lift keys would just index your t-bars.
basically keeps track of how many turns you crank each t-bar.
how old is your truck? i would assume 96
did your truck have a rough life so far?
haul heavy cargo?
i ask because t-bars can sag.

you can crank the tbars up to 1.5in before you have more wear issues. A lift key is no different. The are indexed differently so there is more preload on the springs before cranking it up. So they are a waste of money.
