Question lift kit noob

Hey guys, long time chevy lover here, jusT bought a 2000 blazer ls 4dr. 4x4 and cant wait to lift it. Im just intimidated by all the things to know about it, (cutting brackets, trimming, driveshaft vibes, ) I'd like to put a set of 33" super swampers on it, and have no clue what lift to get. It will be my daily driver, & for the most part off roading at my local beach. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks alot guys

Damon

I run 33s on mine. I have roughly 9in of lift but I do a lot of offroading which it doesnt sound like you will be doing anything to extreme. You should be able to do it with a 6in lift from superlift. It will cost you around 2k though. Otherwise a bodylift (250) with tbar crank and shackles (60). With that you will have to do some trimming though.

great direction man thanks ! nice looking rig ya got. yea nothing too extreme here, maybe some mud at best no crawling or anything. ill definitely look into superlift, i was planning on around 2k it want to do it right ya know. what about a cheaper 4" lift with a 2" body lift does that equal to the 6" lift ?

I believe the is a 5" lift by TrailMaster but its almost 2k aswell so I think your better off going with a 6" and put a body lift too, if you want?

Don't forget to regear your truck as well if you plan on running 33's.

You need new front and rear diff gears. If you plan on going with 33's, I would get 4.10's or 4.11's... No modifications to the trans needed.

gearing isnt a must but I would recommend it. I still have my stock 3.42s with 33s and it isnt too bad but i really want to change to 4.10s
