1.5 to 2 inches for the front is the safe lift. it will put things out of whack but no so bad. and yes thats 1.5 to 2 over stock hight. as far as the ball joints goes i wouldnt mess with them unless they are already worn out. just my 2 cents

How do you find the stock height??
