Default Lift shackle dimensions

I searched for the dimensions, but i cant find them
I think i remember it being 8 inches betweent the holes, but im missing alot still.
I would like to know: Total length, length between holes center to center, thickness of steel i should use, and where the cross part of it should be
Thanks in advance for any help

I'm building my own this week, so I put some research into this...

For every 1/2" of lift you want, you have to add 1" between the holes.
Stock the shackles are 4" bolt centers, so an 8" bolt center will give you 2" of lift

Material I would suggest a 3/8" flatbar.

I am making mine 8" long out of 2" x 3/8" flatbar tied together with a piece of 1.5"x1.5"x3/16" HSS.

Your flatbars will have to be 2.75" apart iirc
