Default Lift Shocks

I have a 99 ZR2 and am looking for some new shocks with a more extended length than the stock Bilstein 5100 series shocks. I've read that the extended length of the 5100's is around 24". i have 3" shackles in the rear and have my shocks maxed out. the rear still sits a little lower than the front so i would like to get some longer shocks to level out the rear with some new shackles. Superlift and Pro Comp both have shocks with a 26" or so extended length. Do you guys think these would work for what i'm going to use them for?

any feedback would be great. thanks

First I would unhook the bottom of both shocks to make sure that's the problem. If when you sit it back down and the shocks are indeed holding the rear down then swap them.

Most likely your rear springs are worn and tring to use longer shocks to lift it is asking for problems. It will ride rough and tear the upper shock mounts off the truck.

I'm only going to be using longer shocks to compensate for longer shackles, thanks for the info
