how do you crank up the factory t bar

RE: lifting
Under the vehicle, about where the front seats are, you'll see a crossmember with two long bars running out of it up to the front wheels. Those torsion bars go into the cross bar, and just inside of the bars is a bolt. Give the bolt a crank. 1/4 turn of the bolt head = .2-.25' of lift.
Also if you search a bit, theres a few tutorials/how-tos/DIYs on tbar cranking.

Be sure to raise the front of the vehicle off the ground first to take the pressure off the tbars. Then crank your adjuster bolts.

RE: lifting
lift the front all the way up or just enough to load the suspension?

RE: lifting
Put the jack on the front crossmember right between the front wheels (er...just behind the axle...that general area). That will lift both wheels off quite nicely. Do the crank, lower the truck, drive around the block to work the suspension out, then park it and measure. Repeat as needed.
You dont have to lift the front up...but it just makes adjusting the bars much easier. Ive heard of the adjuster bolts snapping though from trying to do it under load..

RE: lifting
My trick is to over do it and then you can lower as needed as you drive around.
