Default looking to lift my blazer (recommendations?)

I have a 2000 4 door 4 wheel drive chevy blazer and I am looking to lift it. What are the differences between a body lift and a suspension lift? And what are the advantages to each?

A body lift lifts the body up off the frame more and does nothing for ground clearance except what you gain with larger tires. A suspension lift raises the frame higher increasing the ground clearance front/center/rear.

As far as advantages of each... BL's are easy and fairly cheap. Suspension lifts on these trucks are $$$. You can easily go with a 1.5" SL for cheap, but beyond that and it's $$$. It all depends on your goals.
