Default Must I lift?

Alright guys I decided to get myself a hunter brushguard for my truck, now my question is will I have to lift the front of the truck when I have it mounted to level it back out? I read about cranking the torsion bars, but I never have done such a thing, plus I've read that it isn't good for your ball joints etc. Any input on this would be great.

Thanks
Cedric

brushguard should'nt change anything with how your truck is sitting.

i would think the extra weight would compress the suspension a little bit... similar to when you're not in your truck and then when you get in, it moves down a little bit.

i dont know exactly how much a brushguard weighs so i dont know how much it would affect the truck

I know mine sank down a touch when I put the guard on...

My 30s rub a little bit now, lol.

I'm pretty sure I sank less than 1/4" though.

If you're running factory sized rubber, you won't have any issues at all.

ive got 30's and the hunter guard... it weighs around 90 lbs..... I have no issues with anything, no rubbing, sagging, etc.... you will not have to lift, even with 30's... If your 30's are rubbing, your torsion bars may be beginning to show signs of wear and becoming weaker.... they need tightened and your truck needs realigned, or just have your truck realigned, because sagging will throw the alignment off a bit...
