so i put shakles on the back and tried to level by turning the torsion bar bolts. but one of my bars is sagged much more than the other so I cant really get full height out of it. the sagged side is cranked all the way while the other side is only turned up to be even with the sagged side.

my question is, can i get longer bolts to raise the front more? or should i use a leveling key kit in the front? basically what is the best way to bring up the sagged side higher than with stock hardware?

right now i have about 1.5 inch diff between the front and the back because of this.

have anyone tried longer bolts?

the best way to remain stock with a sagging stock t-bar? go to a junk yard and buy another torsion bar...

longer bolts wont make the t-bar un-sag

obviously they wont make it "un sag" but can longer bolts be used to crank factory keys higher?

probably... i would think that you could "push them" further than they were meant to go.

it would still be better in the long run to just swap out the offending bar.

In theory, longer bolts would allow you to crank more but you will eventually be limited by the top of the crossmember. Check and see how much space is above the key. If there's still space and your bolts are maxed out, longer bolts may give you a little more height.

New torsion keys or thicker/stronger torsion bars would be a better idea but that's also a more involved process than just unscrewing the old bolt and screwing in the new one

How high can you get out of the T-Bar lift? My front end in about two inch off the front tires. Is that ok?

so here it is.

i still have to find a solution to raise the fron abit more. was just thinking of putting an aftermarket key on the sagged side to be able to turn it up a bit more. the bolt on one side is only like half way in while the other side is all the way in.

but here are the pics for now,

before,

now,

the shakle,
