Default Older lift on 2000 zr2

Get guys I'm new to the forum, but not to chevy trucks. I have read on here I believe that u can put an older, maybe even 1st gen, body lift on a newer blazer. I have a 2000 zr2 and the body lift for it is only a 2" and about 200. The older lift is only 125 and it's a 3". Can anybody 100% confirm this?? Thanks
