I've done alot of 4 wheeling since I put the shackles on I haven't had any problems with them but I would agree it is better to spend a little more money on something that probably is better. Stock rims my 31s didn't rub at all my backspacing is 1.5-2" more than stock rims and my rims are an inch wider so thats about 3" my tires stick out past stock rims. Wheel wells are pretty deep in so as long as you keep your stock rims and you could probably even get away with getting 1" spacers and still not rub
oh yea warthog have you ever had a problem with police and your smoked orange bumper lights? I had a cop hounding me about mine because its a "redish" color instead of the amber that its supposed to be. also he says not enough light gets reflected off the reflectors on the side. I passed inspection like that I think he was just trying to give me a hard time...

imo I'd say get 1" for the front and 2" in the back so ur blazer won't look so much like a lard-*** only thing I really don't like about stock blazers the rear wheels sit in so far

it gets dangerous depending on how wide the spacing is. you could probably get away with 1" spacers but anything more than that you are gonna see the problem of your lugs aren't going to have much thread to grab onto this is why most spacers are expensive because they have another set of lugs coming off of them. In my opinion you're almost better off just to get new rims because its going to be around the same price. I know the spacers I looked at were about $250 with the lug extenders or whatever they call it and my rims were only $210 shipped and another $60 to get them mounted and balanced. so getting news rims isn't always going to be the most expensive thing and plus new rims make your blazer unique at least thats my thought. I can understand if you are looking to get 31s and not have any rubbing. you could probably get away with 15x7s with 4.5" backspacing without rubbing but I'm not completely sure
